Land:

Saint Martin is not as cosmopolitan as Martinica, yet its refined French and enviable beaches granted it the name of "Tropical Saint Tropez”.

It's the smallest island in the world shared by two different nations: France ( Saint Martin , capital Marigot) and Holand (Sint Maarten, capital Philispsburg), for almost 350 years.

The borderline between both parts is imperceptible and people walk freely one way or the other without noticing they are walking between two different countries.
The only marker is the monument between “Union Road” and “Belleveu”.
