Country:
Gibraltar is a peninsula located at the entrance of the Mediterranean sea.
Its more famous Rock has an altitude of 426 meters. All its history, as well as its strategic localization, has allowed it to create a mighty image of strength.
It is connected to Spain by land and Morocco by one short boat passage.
It is English territory since 1704 and part of the European Union since 1973, under British ruling.
One of the main attractions there is the Monkey-of-Gibraltar – that is also in North Africa, in regions inhabited by Berber people.
The presence of this monkey originated some legends that are the tourists' delights.
Those who visit Gibraltar can not leave without seeing dolphins.
